The Simmons Shakespeare Silver Hamlet is the exact match to our Simmons Dakar. All of the queen size Simmons mattress sets can be special ordered to have the split queen box spring/foundation, but that is an extra $100 charge for the special foundation on top of the listed set price. Also, you would need to call to place the order for the special foundation since we do not have that as a common option listed online.

Unfortunately, there is no way for us as a retail store to cross reference from a discontinued model from 7 years ago to a current model due to the changes that have taken place in that time frame. Within the past 5-7 years, all mattresses have gone to being one sided, meaning not able to flip and no rotating required, as well as the introduction of Visco Memory Foam and Latex Foam as specialty foams for pressure point relief, motion separation, and added durability. The best thing would be for you to go to a store in your area to test out some of the current models offered by Simmons to determine the comfort level or model that you like. Once you have done that, then you can contact us with the full model names for cross referencing on our end to find the comparable model at our store. Secondly, your clearance mattresses which are 30% off due to defects and have no warranty – have these been used or have any mattress defects that are internal outside of the visual?

The name Montaque does cross reference over to being the same as the Gabarone at our store. Our clearance Scratch & Dent mattresses are mattresses with either shipping damage or that we a floor model at one of our showrooms, none will be used mattresses nor will they have any internal damage.

The Alder will be most closely matched to our Simmons Beautyrest Dakar Firm Mattress set. The Elderberry is a World Class line from Simmons, not a Classic line, and it will be the same as our Lusaka, which is listed as an Extra Firm on our website. You can find both of these by following this link to all Beautyrest Firm mattresses that we currently offer.

There are many upgrades from the Decatur because there are multiple options within the Classic line and the next line up is World Class.
In the Classic line – the next model up is the Dakar Firm, then the Cairo Firm, and lastly the Gabarone XFirm.
The first model in the World Class line is the Wellmen Firm.

1) Simmons World Class (Patterson) Firm Super Pillow Top (foam, but no latex?)
2) Serta Perfect Sleeper (Lynx) Constellation (latex and foam pillow top)

I know each retailer carries different names for identical mattresses. Do you carry these mattresses? How do they compare? What would your comparable name be for further review on your great website?

I am 6″ 4″ (250 lbs) and prefer a firmer mattress with some comfort that sits high (thus the pillow top).

The Simmons that you found will be the same as our Lusaka Firm Pillow Top since it is a World Class that uses Visco Memory Foam but no Latex. With the Serta, we unfortunately do not have a Perfect Sleeper Model that uses both latex and memory foam. We have one Perfect Sleeper model that uses latex and one that uses memory foam, but we do not have one that combines the 2 foams.
