Serta Serenity and Hotel Mattresses

I slept on a Serta Serenity at a Hampton Inn in Alabama and it was great. I went to the Hilton to Home website and noticed that they sell them for $1500 with shipping $1700.

I have seen that Sams Club offers a Serta Presidential Hotel Mattress with 814 coils. Are these two mattresses the same one?

Any thoughts?

Hi Marty,
For the hotel mattresses made by Serta for specific hotels, those are not typical consumer models and are specialty items that most retail stores do not offer. Unfortunately, we as a retail store, cannot tell if the Serenity is the exact same as the Presidential Suite Hotel mattress due to us not having the specifications of the Serenity from Serta.

I do know that Hilton hotels will typically use the 4 or 5 star hotel models from Serta, and you can follow this link to view the different hotel mattresses that we carry from Serta. The Presidential Suite that you found at the local Sam’s Club, is the match to our 5-star, Sapphire Suite model. Hopefully this information helps with your search for the mattress you want. Simmons Firm Mattress Step Up

I am interested in the equivalent to sherborne twin mattress at your company. What is the next step up in quality for firm only in simmons brand. I do not want the cushioning because it is not firm enough.

There are many upgrades from the Decatur because there are multiple options within the Classic line and the next line up is World Class.
In the Classic line – the next model up is the Dakar Firm, then the Cairo Firm, and lastly the Gabarone XFirm.
The first model in the World Class line is the Wellmen Firm.

I believe my wife has found the mattress she likes at a MattressFIRM store.

The mattress is the Simmons Beautyrest Worldclass Cape Horn Plush. Here are the specs for the queen size of this mattress:

Comfort: Plush
Support Layer:
980 coil density which are 8″ tall and 15 1/2 gauge wire all the way across the sleep surface. The coil unit is surrounded by a 360 degree 3″ wide foam encasement for edge support.

Comfort Layers:
1.2oz FR Fiber
1.25″ of Quiltlux
1.5" of convoluted for foam
1.25 oz per sqft of celestra
1.5″ of Super Soft foam
5/8″ of visco foam

Covering:
Stretch nit cover with antimicrobial AllerCare.

Box Spring:
New 6 Slat Triton available in both regular profile and low profile heights.

My guess was this might be the World Class Wellmen Plush on your website,
but it has 15 1/4 guage springs and no 5/8″ visco foam in the comfort layer.

The Cape Horn Plush is the same as our Lusaka Plush.
None of our models contain the AllerCare Fiber – that is exclusive to Mattress Firm.

Mattress Match for Simmons Patterson

We are looking for a new mattress and just came across your site – so many options. We recently visited a local furniture store (Kittle’s) that carries mattresses. I know the best way to “test” the mattress is to lay down on the bed, which is hard to do on my computer. Two that felt comfortable at the store were:

1) Simmons World Class (Patterson) Firm Super Pillow Top (foam, but no latex?)
2) Serta Perfect Sleeper (Lynx) Constellation (latex and foam pillow top)

I know each retailer carries different names for identical mattresses. Do you carry these mattresses? How do they compare? What would your comparable name be for further review on your great website?

I am 6″ 4″ (250 lbs) and prefer a firmer mattress with some comfort that sits high (thus the pillow top).

The Simmons that you found will be the same as our Lusaka Firm Pillow Top since it is a World Class that uses Visco Memory Foam but no Latex. With the Serta, we unfortunately do not have a Perfect Sleeper Model that uses both latex and memory foam. We have one Perfect Sleeper model that uses latex and one that uses memory foam, but we do not have one that combines the 2 foams.

Simmons Coconut Grove Mattress Match

The Coconut Grove name cross referenced in our system to being an exact
match to our Noe Valley which comes in both Luxury Firm or Euro Top versions.

Delivery Question

I want to order a daybed, 2 daybed mattresses and a pop up trundle and I want it all delivered to my front door. I will not be there, but there is a large covered porch. Can this be done and how much is the delivery charge?

Hi Lois,
The free delivery service that we offer is a threshold delivery, meaning that the delivery agent will bring the order to a front door or garage. The delivery agent does call to schedule a date and time window for delivery, but typically requires someone to be there to sign for the delivery. Sometimes you are able to work out an arrangement with the delivery company to leave a note instructing them to leave the order at the door and they will be happy to accommodate you.

Premier Sealy Posturepedic Ultra Plush

Maybe you can help me. We were in the Maldives and have slept in a “Premier Sealy Posturepedic Ultra Plush”. The mattress was about 30 cm high. the think the mattress was “hard”.
Now I’m looking for this exact mattress, but unfortunately I can not find them. The mattresses always have different names. A salesman said it would be similar to the Dynasty. Now I’m not sure because I have problems with my shoulder and I just want to have the same mattress. Can you help me as to find the Premier Ultra Plush?
If this is possible, I need the dimensions 200×200 cm. I hope that they have the same degree as we do:)))

First off, the U.S. uses inches to measure our mattresses. You seem to want a precise square which does not exist in the U.S.
We have a standard King – which measures 76″ wide and 80″ long. There are 2.54 cm in an inch.
The mattress you found seems to be about 11 1/2 inches thick (30 cm)
If it is an ultra plush – it could be similar to our Sealy Posturepedic Eaglewood Ultra Plush Mattress.

Unfortunately, the 2 Stearns & Foster mattresses that you chose are in their
Estate Collection. At this time, S&F has not released the Estate Collection
to any online retailer and they are strictly at brick and mortar retail
stores, so we will not have a comparable model. Online retailers currently
only have access to the Core Collection from S&F. The Sealy Bloomsberry
cross references over to being the same as our Sealy “Signature” Greenhurst.
