I have a question. I was told that the Serta mattresses are all extra firm to start with. You have to put them on the floor and walk on them to break down the fibers and make them soft. Is that true of the Sertas and are all the other brands like that? Thank you.

I, nor anyone at this company has heard of the need to walk on Serta mattresses. All mattresses are made in a similar fashion with different levels of density for the foams used. Some of the foams will be a very firm foam but others will be a very soft foam depending on the style of mattress you choose. You may be able to contact Serta directly for more information, but as far as anyone here knows, all of their mattresses should be ready to use right away and will not require any special attention for breaking them in. We have a king size captains bed that needs a new top mattress-not a whole set. The mattress is 75″ x 79″. Where can I get this type of mattress.

Hi Pat,
The size you need is not a special size – it is a standard king. The rounded dimensions for a standard king are 76″ wide and 80″ long.

You can get almost any mattress on our website in a king size.

The closest fit for an adjustable foundation that we will have matching your description will be the Leggett & Platt Adjustable Frame.
As far as the mattress will go, we do offer a few different styles in latex made by Sealy,
Simmons, or Serta.

I need a mattress for my RV. the mattress size is something like 72×82. I could probably get by with a 72×80 or 72×84, as long as the mattress is not wider than 72 inches. I’d like a pillow top.

Hi Jason,
You might need a California King Size Mattress. They measures 72″ wide and 84″ long. Is that too long for your RV? If, once you measure it out it comes out to something different, try ourcustom size mattresses.

We fould a mattress we liked in Texas but live in Idaho. I am unable to locate one around here. It was Sealy Reflection Ballson. Do you have one like that?
