I’m looking at a comparable mattress to the Stearns and Foster Camdenhurst.
I believe the Wethersfield is basically the same, but the one I looked at was at Mattress firm and they could not tell me if it was a “plush”
pillowtop or a “firm” pillow-top, they said they just sell one type in the Camdenhurst. Do you know which one that they sell?
Hi Cami,
Yes, the Wethersfield is comparable to the Camdenhurst. Unfortunately, I’m not sure which Mattress Firm carries, they should be able to just look at the tag at the store and tell you. If you have any other questions, please let us know.

I went to Sleepy’s today and liked the sealy posturepedic reserve harbor house firm. What is your equivalent and how much does it run? Also, is it necessary to replace the box spring if I already have one?
Hi Ilana,
Our equivalent is the Greenhouse Firm.
You can see our prices at the link above. The price depends on the size you need. For the warranty to be valid, you will need to have the correct box spring for your mattress.

Is there something close to the Sheraton Suite – Perfect Sleeper?
Hi David,
We carry Serta’s hotel collection on our website, however I do not know which one it is.
The Sheraton Hotel is probably a 4 star hotel – so the 4 Star quality Hotel mattress we sell is the Regal Suite. It comes in a Firm, Pillowsoft (plush), and Pillowtop.

What type of mattress would I look for with measurements 30″ by 78″? I don’t see that listed as a mattress size.
Hi MJ,
With the measurements that you have, you would need to look for a custom size mattress. We offer a few different models that range in comfort and price that are available to be custom built.

I am curious about the Serta 5 star mattress that is 14? thick and is sapphire suite plush how it is as far as comfort rating. I noticed most hotels only have the 11.25? and am thinking that the 14? should be even more comfortable. I have tended to like Hilton and Doubletree beds which I assume are somewhat like the regal.
Hi B,
We do not have comfort scale ratings on the Serta Hotel Mattresses because we have never tested them for comfort. The Plush model would be a some what neutral comfort like around a 6.
You are probably correct, the Sapphire Suite models are probably a step up from that they have in Hilton and Doubletree.
We’re closed today but want to wish everyone a happy holiday season. Our experts will be back tomorrow to answer any questions you have. Our hours are a little shorter than normal, 10am-4pm EST, but we’ll return any calls/emails as soon as we’re back in the office.

I am interested in the Largo Odyssey Daybed. Could you please tell me the width and length?
Hi Leslie,
The overall length of the daybed will be 81″ and the width should be 42″ for the Largo Odyssey Daybed.

I have a 5 year old son and I am just now converting his bed from a toddler to a full and need help with choosing an appropriate mattress and
box spring for him. I would like for it to be comfortable and last but price is a concern.
Hi Rob,
Typically, children will need a firmer support system, so a tight top mattress (firm or plush) is a better choice than a very soft mattress like
an ultra plush or pillow top mattress. We do have the Simmons Kids Line available which is designed specifically for children. If you do not like any of those mattresses, then any brand will do provided you select a tight top mattress.

I have been prowling the internet, shopping for a ultra modern platform bed and I have settled in on buying from you. Before I take the plunge I have some questions. Do you seriously compromise comfort going with a platform bed? I currently sleep on a high end Stearns & Foster that is very comfortable, however it is now 10 years old so I’m going to buy something. The only reason I want a platform bed is I like the way it looks. Do you use a special type of mattress? My mattress looks appreciably thicker than the ones shown with platform beds. I realize you don’t use a box spring. Will that fact alone effect comfort? I like the way the Asian models look but I think I’d screw up that look if I used a mattress like the one I currently use. Are there mattresses specially made to be used with these beds? I’m completely confused. Can you enlighten me?
Hi Tom,
When using a platform bed, you can use any type of mattress that you like.
The only difference a platform bed will make is that it will firm up the feel of the mattress slightly since the platform does not flex as a box
spring would. Otherwise, any mattress will do and it will just be your preference on the height of the mattress since you will not be using a box
spring.
