I have looked into your request, and this is a difficult question to answer, as each person finds mattresses to vary in comfort. For a person around 300 lbs, I do recommend using a mattress by either Sealy or Stearns and Foster, because they use a tempered steel coil, which will hold up better over time, and give a longer life to the mattress. Both models do offer a 10 year warranty, but this indicates the mattress will be free of any defect for the 10 years, and not how long the mattress will last. That is also an individual point, some people are more sensitive to changes in their mattress and do not tolerate any deviation in the feeling over time, and need to replace their mattress sooner than others. For longevity, I recommend going with a firmer mattress and adding a memory foam or latex topper for comfort, rather than choosing a Pillowtop. That way, if the top wears out, or your needs change, you can alter the comfort as needed.
