Short and Soft Mattress Solution

We are looking for a 9″ mattress and 9″ box spring for our 85 year old mother. She likes the coil system with the edge support and plush count of 8 – 10. Do you have anything like that?

Hi Sandy,

In order to receive a mattress of that softness you unfortunately would not be able to find one to match the thickness you are looking at. I would recommend looking for a softer mattress and then going with a low profile box spring. Typically with a low profile box spring you are only looking at roughly 5-6 inches.

We are looking for a Sealy Twin mattress for our son. It looks like you only sell mattress sets on your site but due to the design of his bed we do not need the box spring, only the mattress. Can you sell a mattress that way?

We looked at a Sealy Thayer twin mattress in a local department store on closeout. Do you have an equivalent mattress to that one and what would you charge for mattress only?

The Sealy Thayer is a match to our Sealy Brandish. However, the Brandish is last year’s model and has been replaced with the Sealy “PREFERRED” Eaglewood Cushion Firm. If you would like to order that as a mattress only, please feel free to call us at 1-800-455-1052. The order will have to be placed over the phone since we do not offer that particular mattress only on the website.
