Can you tell me if the Fashion Bed Group Murray platform bed, twin, will hold an XL twin mattress?

Thank you for your interest in the Murray Platform bed. A twin extra long mattress will not fit on this frame, it is 5 inches longer than the standard twin, and it would hang off of the edge.

Why does Simmons not put their label on your Simmons products?
Hello Roger,
Simmons is not putting the plastic medallion on any of their new models for any of the stores.
If a mattress company has old inventory sitting in a warehouse – then of course those models will still have the plastic medallion.
Anything that is made new for you – would not contain the plastic medallion.
This was a decision made by Simmons to save them money.
The mattress will still be marked with a Law Tag which is necessary for Warranty Purposes – and there is a Silk Tag identifying the mattress.
The plastic medallion has only been part of their marketing scheme for the last 3 to 4 yrs. They have not always used it.
