According to the IBC warranty for the Dr. Breus bed, indentations greater than 1.5 inches are NOT covered by the warranty:

8. Body impressions greater than 1.5” (Note, body impressions greater than 1.5” in all sleeping areas are not considered a manufacturing defect. They are caused by the natural compression and settling of quality upholstery materials. They are simply an indication that the upholstery layers are conforming to your body's individual contours."

This is a shame, because after 7 months, this bed is extremely uncomfortable. I prefer to sleep on the couch now.

The indentations in my Sealy Posturepedic king are unbearable after two years. But Sealy won't warrant the mattress because the indentations are not apparent unless you are in the bed. My wife and I sag about 6 inches into the bed where we normally sleep. If I lay down in the centerline of the bed (the relatively unused portion), the sag is only about 2 inches. This was a $2,200 mattress and 20 months later I'm having to replace it. We both have chronic back pain now. I can't believe this is happening.

"Indentations are common place in mattresses today... By contouring to the body the mattress is providing better support kind of like a pair of shoes"

This is such a joke. We bough a new Seally Posturepetic Reserve and the indentations came in 2 weeks. The pain is pretty much unbearable. My Chiropractor has even noticed the changes for the worse on my body. She could not understand what was happening to me until I told her about the bed

I just don't understand how the mattress companies can say sleeping in a "canoe" is better for support.- It's pretty much a nightmare.
