Dust Mite Resistant?

From Jack in Charlotte, NC -

Is the Serta Pure Response Splendour mattress need a dust mite cover?

Hi Jack-

The latex in the mattress is antimicrobial and dust mite resistant, however there are other foam layers in the mattress which are not. So yes, if you want to resist dust mite growth in the other foam layers of the mattress, you would need a waterproof type of cover like the ProtectABed Premium Mattress Protector.
