When shopping for sheets, you want to make sure they are listed as “deep pocket”. Deep pocket sheets are made to accommodate a mattress that measures between 14 and 18 inches. All of the sheets you find on our site will fit the Lusaka. Our deepest sheets are the Sealy BestFit 400 Thread Count Sheets. This set can fit mattresses as deep as 20 inches. I have a few questions to ask you.
1. What are your equivalent (perhaps exact but different names) of the following simmons models
Simmons Exceptionale Riggins Visco Plush Firm
Simmons Exceptionale Baxter Latex Luxury Firm
2. I’ve heard some people mentioned that Simmons mattresses will sag quicker than Sealy mattresses. Is that true ?
3. I weight 150 lbs and my wife weight 115 lbs. What would be a reasonable estimated time (in years) to see the sagging with the above mattresses ?
4. It seems like Simmons have models that are firmware than Sealy and Simmons edge seems to be firmer as well. Is that true ?
5. In your opinions based on your experiences, with similar materials and firmness, is there really any difference between Simmons and Sealy ?

1. The Riggins is the same model as our Lusaka Visco Plush Firm and the Baxter Latex Luxury Firm is the same as our Fondulac Latex Luxury Firm.
2. Simmons Beautyrest carry the same life expectancy as many other manufacturers -10 years. I haven’t heard of customers having more problems with Simmons than any other brand, the mattress shouldn’t sag and your warranty protects against any sagging that affects spinal alignment.
3. I would expect a Simmons Beautyrest will last you about 10-14 years.
4. Simmons does have a reinforced edge support that is both supportive and durable. You won’t find this style of edge with any of their competitors until you reach the $2,000 price point.
5. Simmons uses an individually pocketed coil designed to reduce the amount of motion that’s transferred from one end of the mattress to the other whereas Sealy uses a tied coil unit built to offer a stiffer support overall.

I am interested in a Simmons Beautyrest Cairo Super Pillow Top mattress. I am replacing a waterbed, and really like the bedframe that came with the waterbed. My question is will the Cairo Super Pillow Top fit in the frame, which has sides, and can it be purchased without the foundation?

Most of the time when a customer wants to purchase a mattress to be used in conjunction with an existing waterbed frame the dimensions are 72 inches wide by 84 inches long, which equates to a California King size. I would suggest taking a measurement of the inside dimensions to make sure this is going to work for you. I am seeking information on a mattress called Dreamscapes made by Simmons in a Twin XL size.

We can match the Dreamscape to the name that was issued to our site, but I would need to know more information, specifically the number of coils in the mattress, mattress height without boxspring and if the mattress contains any Visco memory foam or Latex; your local retailer should have this information on file. Is the Serta Pure Response Splendour mattress need a dust mite cover?
Hi Jack-
The latex in the mattress is antimicrobial and dust mite resistant, however there are other foam layers in the mattress which are not. So yes, if you want to resist dust mite growth in the other foam layers of the mattress, you would need a waterproof type of cover like the ProtectABed Premium Mattress Protector.
